Greywalls looks and sound luscious, like a great place to stay even if it's not racing weekend. If you like vintage cars have you heard of the Owls Head Transportation Museum in Maine? It's on my page at NE US Travel at suite101.com

Hi Fran and thanks for that information. I haven't stayed at Greywalls but my wife did, when she was researching a guidebook to Scotland, and she said it is one of the best hotels she ever stayed in in her life!
