Interesting too about the actual "Angela's ashes" site. Is there some kind of "Angela's Ashes" tour (like that whole Da Vinci Code thing ...)??

I've not heard of an official tour. The book got a very mixed reception there because it didn't paint a very flattering portrait of Limerick - even though the slums it describes are long gone. But there is a self-guided tour you could do from this website, which is excellent:
